1972 Lancia Fulvia

This 1972 Lancia Fulvia’s first owner was named Salvatore Benito Grimaldi, seller’s uncle. The seller told me that his uncle always used to go out with a close friend of his. When that friend died, he put the Fulvia in the garage and almost never drove it again. The seller inherited it and used it for his wedding, but, as he told me, he is not an enthusiast and never used it much.

The series II Lancia Fulvia coupè was produced from 1970 to 1973. It featured a 1300cc engine producing 90 CV, a new five speed gearbox, and larger Girling brakes.

Incredibly, the car comes with its original set of tires, 165SR14 Goodyears with 1972 date codes. The original tires don’t show much wear, giving some credence to the seller’s mileage claim. Lassa Greenways 175/70R14 tires are currently mounted with 2020 date codes.

Further, the original dealership sticker is still attached to the rear window. The first owner bought it from Nicolo Riolo S.p.A. in Palermo, which is now Riolo Group srl and has grown to 12 storefronts in the city. The insurance in the windshield is dated 1983.

The seller told me the paint is original though he recently polished it. Also, the wheels are original, but he had them painted. The interior is totally original and conserved. It has its original spare tire in the trunk and jack. It has the box for its toolkit, but is unfortunately missing the toolkit itself.

The odometer shows just 17,096 kilometers, which the seller says are original.

The car comes with its original libretto and foglio complementare, showing the original owner and subsequent registration by the seller in 2018. It also comes with the original owner's manual, Lancia assistance booklet, and dealership folder.

This Fulvia is for sale in Palermo for 14,000 euros. If you're interested, call the seller, Giuseppe +39 351 962 8811.

    Complimenti veramente ben conservata.
