The last Sicilian prince's Ferrari 750 Monza
Baron Luigi Bordonaro di Chiaramonte, often called "the last Leopard" for his elegant and traditional style of life, bought this Ferrari 750 Monza, 1 of 31, chassis 0530M, new in 1955, when its black plates PA 33106 were issued.
With this car, in 1955, Bordonaro raced the Giro di Sicilia, Monte Pellegrino, the hillclimb of Colle San Rizzo and Monte Erice, the 10 hours of Messina, the Etna hillclimb, the GP of Tunis, and the legendary Targa Florio.
After his ownership, this Ferrari passed through the hands of another palermitan, Baron Bernardo Cammaroto, before going to the U.K. and the U.S. In 2000, Giuseppe Scalvenzi of Brescia brought the car back to Italy and raced it in the Mille Miglia 9 times.
In 2013, RM Sotheby's sold the car in Monterey, California for $4,070,000. Afterwards, Tom Hartley, Jr. brokered the sale to its current owner, Russian supermodel Yulia Houghtaling. She, together with her husband John Houghtaling, completed a five year restoration, ending in 2024. It is one of just 4 750 Monzas that retain its original inline, 3.0L 4 cylinder engine (260hp at 6,000rpm), tubular chassis, transmission and body.
Yulia and her daughter Alisia drove the car as an all female team with Ferrari Classiche at the Mille Miglia 2025. She also brought it to the ICE Concours in St. Moritz in 2026, where it won the Barchettas on the Lake category.
In 2025, the car returned to the Giro di Sicilia driven by Luigi Bordonaro di Chiaramonte, heir of the first owner.

Wow, I really enjoyed this read! After reading and watching the leopard, it’s really cool to see his car.
I talked with Yulia about her Ferrari, she is very nice!
